At Vitamin Buddy, we’re committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This privacy policy sets out how Vitamin Buddy uses and protects any information that you give Vitamin Buddy when you use this website.  This policy explains how we use the data, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep your data secure.

Please note that Vitamin Buddy is the Data Controller of your personal data. What information do we collect on our site?

We may collect information from you when:

To help us provide you with your tailored vitamin plan and process your order we will ask you to provide personal details including, but not limited to:

  • Demographic information and information about your nutritional lifestyle, preferences and health goals

  • Contact information including email address
  • Demographic information such as post code, preferences and interests
    other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

If you purchase one of our products, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.

When we receive your order, details will be sent to our fulfilment partner, RMI Services Limited, who will receive the following information in order to send out your pack:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Vitamin Plan details

Please note that we require certain types of information so that we can provide services to you. If you do not provide us with such information, or if you ask us to delete your information or account, we will no longer be able to provide our services to you.

What we do with the information we gather:

  • Our primary purpose in using your data is to provide you with your personalised Vitamin Plan and process any orders on our site.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Vitamin Buddy’s policy on collecting data from children

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.

Retention of your information

We will retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

 

How we use cookies

Specifically, the data that we hold, and the process for providing you with this data is as follows:

  • Name and email address, held by both Mailchimp and within WordPress
  • Responses to your questions to the Vitamin Buddy Questionnaire, held within WordPress and can be downloaded/deleted through our content management software
  • All prior correspondence held within our email servers

 

Changes to the terms of this Privacy Policy

Vitamin Buddy will occasionally make changes and corrections to this Privacy Policy. If we believe that the changes are material, we’ll let you know by doing one (or more) of the following: (1) posting the changes on this site, or (2) sending you an email or message about the changes. We will also give you the opportunity to consent to these material changes.
